At the end of March, Mecum’s auctioning off 16 motorcycles, all but one of which will be sold with no reserve. But one of them stands head and shoulders above the others – it’s claimed to be the Husqvarna 400 Cross that Steve McQueen owned and rode on the iconic cover of Sports Illustrated from their August 23, 1971 issue.
MotoGP Charity Auction – Two Wheels For Life
Two Wheels for Life is a charity that helps solve the problem of getting health care to African communities with “reliable transport systems” that center around motorcycles. It is the official charity of FIM and MotoGP, so there’s an online charity auction going on right now of MotoGP memorabilia to raise money for this great cause.
