Victory Motorcycles earned a couple of podium places at this year’s Pikes Peak International Hill Climb with their electric Empulse RR and the petrol-powered Project 156 – placing 2nd and 3rd overall respectively. These videos (and understandably) are unfortunately not from the race day, but they’re still very cool (assuming you have a computer and internet connection that don’t suck).

Kawasaki’s Ninja H2R is no less absurd today then when it was released to the world two years ago. Last fall, a group of engineers from Indian Motorcycles decided they would tackle the land speed races at El Mirage with a Scout and a Dark Horse. Indian decided to tag along and create a series of short videos chronicling the process. They call it “Passion For Speed.” I call it a decent excuse to avoid working.
