8-16 Update: 8 months later and this bike is now up for sale in North Carolina. The seller adds some additional details: This bike (VIN: CB400FE2100225) was apparently built The Shop in Milwaukee in the early 2000s for vintage racing, competing at Mid-Ohio. That was the last time it was raced. The seller is the 2nd owner and notes that …

The Harley-Davidson Sportster XLCH was one of the classic HD’s featuring the usual V-Twin powerplant. Some people …

The bigger brother of the W1 (a name which Kawasaki would eventually bring back), the Kawasaki W2 650SS was also known as the Commander. Just 639 were sold, and this one has been turned into a cafe racer that the seller calls a Beezasaki (presumably due to the BSA gas tank).
In England – The Honton
Fans of the Triton can probably guess how this bike got its name – a CB750K engine inside of a Norton Wideline replica frame. What do you think of this Japanese twist on the Triton concept?
BikeEXIF Feature – 1984 BMW K100
Built by Jeff Veraldi, this custom BMW K100 cafe racer looks great and served as a bit of therapy for him – unfortunately he burst a vertebrae in an off-road truck race and almost was paralyzed during the build. Finishing this bike became part of his “physical, occupational, and mental therapy”.
1979 Harley-Davidson XLCR Custom
I’ve featured plenty of XLCR’s in the past, as I find them to be such an interesting departure from what one would normally expect from Harley. Here’s one that’s been customized with an aluminum tank, aftermarket shocks, and more. The bike (VIN: (VIN: 3A21911H9)has a bit over 10,000 miles and unfortunately the listing does not come with much information. Do …

1963 Royal Enfield Continental
The “jelly mold” tank was only available in the ’63 model of the Royal Enfield Continental, the first year of production. Here’s one of the first bikes of a model that Enfield has brought back for the new Continental GT. A nifty two-fifty, the Continental was a cafe racer with a styling cues like the chrome tank, half-naked rear springs, …
< 2K Miles - 1989 Honda GB500
Post Sale Update: This GB sold for $5,000 after 24 bids on eBay. You’re all familiar with the Honda GB500, a bike that I have trouble not featuring. This example was bought by the seller in 2005, and it’s apparently taken him/her 10 years to realize s/he isn’t going to ride it. Now it’s your change to put some miles …
