One of my only complaints with the CRF250L is a lack of power (especially when you’re exploring in elevation), which makes this specific CRF-L particularly interesting – it has the 30 horsepower/20 lb-ft motor out of a Honda CBR300R!
That might not seem like a ton, but the original 250 produced 23/16 and the 300 tranny has a taller 6th gear for better highway cruising. The seller is the second owner, and he acquired the bike with less than 400 miles. He put about 7,000 miles on it before swapping in the CBR300R drivetrain last year, after which he’s put on about 3,000 miles. There are 2,707 miles on the engine and 10,038 miles on the chassis.
Beyond that, it’s been well-farkled for adventure riding with DirtBagz luggage, PMR rack, BajaWorx windshield, Flatland skidplate, Acerbis 3 gallon tank, Seat Concepts low seat, FMF header, Tusk folding shifter, handguards, and much more. The sale includes many stock parts – seat, gas tank, front/rear sprockets, taillight, rear fender, etc.
