Designed for the 75th anniversary of the MG factory, the Moto Guzzi Centauro was a limited production model (just 1918 ever built, 300 imported to the US) that was a sporty variant of the classic Italian cruiser with very distinctive bodywork, made out of bodywork that the factory advertised for some reason as 100% recyclable.
It might be apropos to call it an Italian V-Max, but the Yamaha puts out a bit more oomph. The 992cc twin in the Centauro was good for 95 horsepower and a top speed of 130 miles per hour. Owners say that it’s very cold blooded but that a Will Creedon chip basically fixes all. Some people didn’t care for the ergonomics, but no one could argue with the components – White Power suspension front and rear, Brembo brakes, and Marchesini wheels. Want to learn more?
