I’m always trying to find attainable bikes to complement some of the more insanely expensive finds, and I think this sub $3k BMW is perfect for those of you looking for a sport-tourer with some 80s style.
This bike spent some time in storage but was refurbished from ‘top to bottom’. The driveshaft got a new u-joint, the fuel tank got new lines and a fuel pump, and there’s plenty more new and rebuilt parts sprinkled all over the bike. It has 60K miles but it’ll probably be good for at least twice that. What I’m impressed with is the amount of preparation this bike received for the price, plus you’ll get all kinds of touring goodies: the OEM side bags/trunk/tank bag plus a rear rack, backrest, and a Russell DayLong seat built on the stock pan.
