The other bikes featured today are classic Brits, but here’s a modern bike from India with classic British looks. Close enough? Royal Enfield has had some success with the C5 since bringing it back to the states, thanks to updates including a unite construction engine, fuel injection, and other modern features that belie its classic good looks. This example stands out to me as it’s the “Classic Chrome” model – as if this bike didn’t get enough attention already. With 27 horsepower from the 499cc single, this bike obviously isn’t about stoplight drag races. But you’ll get nearly 70 miles per gallon and plenty of pangs of nostalgia.
