Post Listing Update: This collection did not get any action at the asking price of $180,000.

1942 was a tough year for all motorcycle manufacturers due to World War II, but it was particularly harsh for Indian – they shut down civilian production in February to focus on bikes for the military. Just four models were made available: Junior Scout, Sport Scout, Chief, and Four, and as you’d expect, very few were sold that year. Despite that, someone has managed to build a collection of each of the 4 models from 1942, and now he or she is selling them all off as one.

Per the seller – Classic Motorcycle Consignments – all 4 bikes have been restored with minimal use of reproduction parts. It should be noted that of the four models here, all but the Chief were discontinued after ’42.
