Here’s a polarizing scrambler based on a Yamaha XS650 Special. The seller has apparently been cranking out XS-based customs for a few years now, so you’d hope that the quality was up to snuff (and the price is hard to argue with). That just leaves the styling up for debate.
The tank and seat for this bike (VIN: 3G0001152) are from a ’67 Ducati Scrambler, and the plastics are from UFO. The front end is from a Yamaha XT600, and there’s an Acewell digital gauge cluster. The engine has a Pamco electronic ignition system but no battery. The seller says that’s to keep weight down, but he’s kept the starter on it anyway. Other goodies include the NOS Akront rims and the custom rear rack.
