Just a couple of days ago, I brought up Dave Moss as he’s coming to Beach Moto for some suspension tuning. Looks like we’re going back to him today because he’s selling one of his championship winning race bikes.
This bike started as a Honda VFR400 but was bumped up to 428 by GForce to help with competition in the AFM 450 Superbike class, where this bike won the title in 2011, 2012, and 2013 and then came in 2nd in 2014. In 2015 it got an engine rebuild and then it was raced once, winning the first round of AFM at Button Willow. Since then it’s been in storage and the seller says “cannot in good conscience let a Championship winning bike gather dust, so I am putting it up for sale.”
As you’d expect from a seller like Dave, there are a series of quality modifications including GP Suspension 25mm forks, Motion Pro Revolver, Tyga full race exhaust, custom dash, CBR954 brakes, aftermarket radiators, and more. It’s an import with no title. Find this VFR for sale here on Bay Area Riders Forum for $8,000 in Richmond, California.
