December 2019 Result Highlights

Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?

This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:

Harley-Davidson VL Panhead Custom – sold for $30,000 after 28 bids on eBay in Henderson, Nevada.

712 Miles – 2002 Ducati 998S Ben Bostrom Replica – 127/155 – sold for $12,500 after 43 bids on eBay in Mukilteo, Washington.

2019 CAKE Kalk Limited Edition – sold for the BIN of $10,990 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Restored – 1969 Honda Mini Trail – sold for $3,101 after 18 bids on eBay in Seattle, Washington.

1985 Suzuki RG400 Gamma – sold for $7,500 after 19 bids on eBay in Raleigh, North Carolina.

1995 Ducati 900SS/SP – sold for $4,500 after 12 bids on eBay in Sonoma, California.

6 Miles – 1995 Ducati 916 Senna – sold for $32,207 (including buyer’s fee) on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.

2012 Husqvarna Nuda 900R – initially did not meet reserve, but the high bidder later met the reserve of $9,000 + 7% buyers fee = $9,630 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions.

Alchemy Motorcycles’ “Grey Ghost” – 1978 Honda CB550 – sold for $16,800 after 52 bids on eBay in San Diego, California.

No Reserve – 1971 Honda SL70 – sold for $2,030 after 25 bids on eBay in Clermont, Florida.

1986 Cagiva Aletta Oro S2 – sold for the opening bid of $2,000 on eBay in Brooklyn, New York.

Pick a Color – 1984/5 Yamaha RZ350 Kenny Roberts – the yellow/black bike sold for $14,201 after 39 bids on eBay in Chicago, Illinois. The red/white bike sold for $5,000 after 2 bids on eBay in Longboat Key, Florida.

1939 Indian Sport Scout – sold for $19,600 after 43 bids on eBay in Cold Spring, New York.

Rare in the US – 1968 Moto Guzzi Dingo Gran Turismo – sold for $1,700 after 18 bids on eBay in Galena, Illinois.

2008 MV Agusta F4 R 312 – sold for $7,295 after 3 bids on eBay in San Diego, California.

No Reserve – 1975 Triumph Trident T160 Project – sold for $4,427 after 34 bids on eBay in Dade City, Florida.

Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:

1990 Gilera Saturno 500 Bialbero – did not meet reserve despite 20 bids up to $9,200 in Wainscott, New York.

1984 Ducati Pantah 650SL – did not meet reserve despite 28 bids up to $8,601.01 in Wainscott, New York.

1966 Gilera B300 – did not meet reserve despite 21 bids up to $3,750 in Wainscott, New York.

1991 Moto Guzzi 1000S – did not meet reserve despite 33 bids up to $12,100 in Wichita Falls, Texas. It was immediately relisted but bidding only got up to $11,300. The seller then tried one last relist at a BIN of $15,000 with no takers.

16 Miles – 2003 Bultaco Astro 50 – did not meet reserve despite 3 bids up to $2,800 on eBay in Corona, California.

In Canada – 1975 Moto Guzzi 850T Racer – did not meet reserve despite 55 bids up to $4,168 on eBay in Toronto, Canada.

The Fugitive by Radical Guzzi – did not meet reserve despite 40 bids up to $14,500 on eBay in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

1973 Auranthetic Charger – did not get any interest at the BIN of $1,450 on eBay in Chicago, Illinois.

Mostly New – 1991 Harley-Davidson XR750 – did not meet reserve despite 33 bids up to $14,501 on eBay in Savannah, Georgia.
