Named “WIMPA”, this is one of the best dirt-focused sidecar builds I’ve seen in a long time. The seller only finished the build last year, and he notes that it’s a good choice for someone who’s getting older (and doesn’t have the same confidence off-road as they once did) but still wants to get out in the wilderness. It’s also a great way to bring your dog on an ADV trip! In the seller’s words, “it’s a purpose-built, rugged, sorted, go anywhere outfit planned and built by a guy with a mild OCD problem.” I love it.
It’s got well over $24,000 into it, and highlights include custom sprung Ohlins, electric tilt/camber control for the sidecar, stainless steel brake lines (no brakes on the sidecar but the seller has all the equipment to add it back if you wish), seriously reinforced sidecar body/frame, spare fuel can, Happy Trail Teton panniers, Corbin seat, Z-Technik cylinder head guards, Suburban Machinery foot pegs, custom skid plate, custom exhaust, PIAA LED lights, and plenty more. Reading through the mod list gives you an idea as to why the seller says he’s got mild OCD, though in this situation I’d disagree with his assessment that it’s a problem.
The seller claims that everything works and no repairs are needed, so find WIMPA for sale here on ADVRider (registration required) for $13,500 in Tacoma, Washington.
