This R100 was restored in 2009, and since that date it has just 8,484 miles. I’ts full of smart touring upgrades like a Telefix fork brace, dual disk ATE front brake conversion, and bar risers, but the most obvious change is the large Don Vesco fairing.
Sticklers for originality should look elsewhere, but if you’re looking for a R100 that you can ride in comfort for thousands of miles, this bike (VIN: 6120986) is an interesting option. Other noteworthy aspects of the restoration include powdercoating of the frame, swingarm, subframe, fork brace, and bar risers. The tank was resealed and all the bodywork was painted maroon and pinstriped. The swingarm has custom bracing, the handlebars are from a R100S, and the suspension has been upgraded with Progressive springs up front and KONI rear shocks. Rounding it all off are Tronconi & Novelli rear sets.
