Built by Coleman Keffer of the newly-created CKCustomBikes, this ’88 Sportster has been converted into a “Dual Sportster”.
The bike was “torn down to the frame and polished, cleaned and put back together with beautiful new parts and tasteful upgrades,” which included new bars, levers, oil pump, carb, shocks, fenders, badging, exhaust, wheels, tires, kickstand, headlight, and taillight. The belt drive was swapped for a chain, and the ride height has obviously been raised significantly.
What do you think of the final result? It’s heavy for a dirt bike, but so is every “scrambler” that the OEMs are putting out nowadays anyway. Would you ride this? If so, find it for sale in Capistrano Beach, California for $7,500 here on Craigslist.
