While writing up a Triumph Salt Flat Racer a few days ago, I stumbled upon Factory Metal Works. On their site I discovered a beautiful custom built around a BSA A65 motor – they’ve named it “Earache”, and I’m a fan.
The A65 motor has dual Amal 930 carbs, but it’s the aesthetics that matter here. A custom frame holds all kinds of goodies together – a Wassell style peanut tank, custom molded rear fender from Baron’s Speed Shop, custom chain guard, oil tank, and more.
I think the pipes look great, as does the black metal flake paint with white pinstripes. If you’re looking for more information, this bike was apparently featured in a previous issue of The Horse, but I can’t figure out which one.
Find Earache for sale in Concord, North Carolina here at Factory Metal Works for $10,999.
