The off-road brother of the venerable Super Hawk, the CL77 was an excellent scrambler.

Honda CL77 - Gauges

The CL77 had several variations from the Superhawk, including increased ground clearance (thanks to the distinctive exhaust), a bigger frame (which eliminated space for an electric starter), smaller fuel tank, bigger 19-inch wheels, universal tires, and more. The 305cc parallel twin revved to 9,000 rpm and produced 28.5 horsepower. Weighing 352 pounds, this wasn’t a svelte off-roader, but the distinctive looks and sound helped make this a popular motorcycle.

Honda CL77 - Engine

This specific Honda CL77 Scrambler (VIN: CL771048239) has just over 5,000 miles and is claimed to run and ride extremelly well. It’s been recently tuned (including a carb cleaning) and looks good – cosmetic flaws seem to be limited to a couple of small marks on the bottom right side of the tank.
