Featuring 1,000cc cylinders, dual plug heads, a Luftmeister turbo charger, and plenty more custom pieces, this is an interesting BMW that needs a bit of love before it can terrorize the streets again.
It was in the previous owner’s possession since 1977 and that it’s been off the road since 2007. It’s unclear when the current owner acquired it but he hasn’t tried to start it. He says that he hooked up a battery and the engine turns over freely, but assume this is going to need plenty of work.
Other upgrades include San Jose BMW triple clamp/valve covers, Luftmeister Haltech fuel injection, Lester mag wheels, Koni shocks, Corbin seat, BMW saddlebags, BMW 100CS tail section, 1983 front end, gusseted swing arm, oil cooler, custom exhaust, and a Don Vesco fairing that’s been painted (along with the rest of the bodywork) in Ferrari Giallo Modena (yellow).
