A naked variant of the VJ21 RGV250, Suzuki’s Wolf was never officially offered in the US. But with 45 horsepower to motivate just 275 pounds, it’s something worth taking a second look at!
The model was introduced in 1988, but Suzuki gave it several updates for 1989. Everything was minor, but suzukicycles.org mentions that there are 28 modifications. They also note the existence of a JDM-specific variant that had an indicator in the dashboard that lit up when the rider was going faster than the Japanese national speed limit.
This Wolf (VIN: VJ21A121966) has 1,273 miles on the odometer, and it is now on a clear Texas title after being recently imported by the seller. The seller cleaned the carb and gave it an oil change as part of getting it ready for the road.
