Post Sale Update: This XR75 sold for $4,050 after 43 bids on eBay.
Introduced in early 1973, the XR75 was a popular platform for youngster that were getting into serious off-road riding – or even racing. Because of that, very few examples have survived in good shape. This one can’t be considered a survivor as the seller says it’s been given a comprehensive restoration to “better than new” condition.
Highlights of the work for this XR (VIN: XR75-1103097) include a repaint with paint sourced from Randy Marble, rebuilt top end, powdercoated frame and swingarm, and several new parts like the swingarm bushings, steering head bearings, wheel bearings, and DID rims. The seller claims it looks and runs like new, but it does not include a title.
