Gixxers are cool. First-generation GSX-750s are even cooler. What’s even better? An early Gixxer done up as an endurance racer replica!

This example (VIN: JS1GR75A3G2105963) was “custom built to race spec but was never raced”, instead it “was mostly a show bike” per the seller. It’s not just show – the motor was rebuilt with a balanced crankshaft, oversized Wiseco pistons, race cams, adjustable camshaft sprockets, hardened rocker arms, upgraded valve springs, titanium valve retainers, and more. There’s also 34mm Mikuni flast slide carbs with velocity stacks and pod filters and a Yoshimura exhaust. Beyond the drivetrain, you’ve got a Fox fully adjustable shock, Progressive front fork springs, 4″ wide rear wheel, 520 chain conversion, larger front brakes, stainless steel braided brake lines, and a full JDM lighting (including the front headlight on/off switch with city light option).

Everything is said to work, and the seller took photos of all the bodywork before the decals were applied so you can verify that no cracks are being hidden by the stickers. What do you think – fun tribute or weird poser? Find this endurance-inspired Gixxer for sale in Seattle, Washington with bidding up to $5,000.79
