For BMW’s 75th anniversary, the Germany company created a limited run of the R, GS, RT, and the RS. Differences were limited to the special paint scheme and fancy paperwork called the “Edition Folder” for the owner. The RS also got ABS, heated grips, and luggage to complete the package.
This example has 54,000 miles and is claimed to be in very good condition for its age. Goodies include a Wilbers rear suspension, fender extenders, and cylinder guards. There are some negatives – the heated grips only work on low, the windscreen adjustment doesn’t work, and there’s varying minor cosmetic issues as you’d expect on a 17 year old motorcycle with over 50k miles.
