Did you know that Michael Jordan (yes, the legendary basketball player) is a huge motorcycle racing fan? In 2004, he founded Michael Jordan Motorsports (MJM) to get involved with the sport, and they immediately started competing in AMA Superbike. In 2013, they signed up Danny Eslick to compete alongside Roger Hayden – Danny ran number 23, what Jordan was famous for in the NBA. But by the end of the year, MJM decided to leave AMA and pursue international opportunities. That never ended up going anywhere, but that’s a story for another day. With all that said, here’s Danny’s ex-MJM race bike…and it’s ready to compete again.
The livery was inspired by a corresponding Nike shoe release, the Air Jordan XX8 in a Blue Camo colorway. Eslick’s leathers also adopted the blue wave, as well:

The bike was originally built by Gemini Racing out of East Troy, Wisconsin. The bike didn’t have many results to write home about, but it’s still a full bore AMA spec Superbike! According to the seller, it was refreshed at the end of the 2013 season and has just 20 hours of track use since.
