Factory race machines are the pinnacle of production-based two-wheelers. As their name suggests, these bikes come straight from the manufacturer who is giving it all they have in hopes that their bike will win its respective championship which will hopefully translate to satisfactory sales numbers and steer buyers towards their offering over the competition. Well, this 2014 CRF450 is no exception, and though it’s a couple years old this bike could likely outperform today’s flagship base models with relative ease.

Ridden by Malcolm Stewart for the Troy Lee Designs Team in 2014 (he would supposedly go on to buy one of TLD’s factory 450’s to use in the Red Bull Straight Rhythm open class). Stewarts’ choice of bike when buying it himself should give you an indication of this machines ability. This example features a fully-built race motor with a PC piston, coated internals, port/polish, and more. Only about three hours have been put on the motor since its last full-race prep. All of this work has been performed by some of the best of the best.

As expected, this Honda dirt-goer has a host of top shelf components that separate it from its stock non-factory counterpart. The bike is rocking a front and rear Showa Factory suspension kit, in the seller’s words: “the PC stuff but the true factory showa stuff.” Other parts include Xtrig Triple Clamps, Factory titanium foot pegs, full FMF exhaust, Renthal Sprockets and twin wall bars, DID Gold Chain and Dirt Star wheels sporting new Dunlop MX32 tires.

You can find this Factory Honda 2014 CRF450R still wearing its factory paint/sticker digs for sale here on Craigslist in San Francisco, California with a price of $12,000.
