Post Listing Update: This SR250 did not get any interest at the BIN of $45,000.
One of three SR250 factory racers hat Kawasaki sent to the USA in 1981, this example was restored by an “ex-factory mechanic that was working for the race team at that time.”
The bike is claimed to have been last raced by Jimmy Weinert at Anaheim in January of 1983. But the bike has even more MX history, as the seller is none other than Brad Lackey, America’s first 500cc world MX champion.
The restoration supposedly took 400 hours and it was completed approximately 3 years ago. The bike is offered with a bill of sale only.
