It’s expensive, exotic, and it makes you feel like royalty – the castle in the background doesn’t hurt, either. But is it worth almost $17 grand? If you’re simply looking for a high-performance naked motorcycle, the Brutale RR makes the Triumph Street Triple look like a bargain. If, however, you’re looking for art that moves you, MV’s “Motorcycle Art” will do so figuratively and literally.
MV hosted the press for the first time since 2016, and Cycle News sent me to Italy to see what they had to share. After an evening of conversations with MV’s leadership (including dinner on one of the production lines!) I think they have the right ideas going forward. I’m sincerely hoping they can execute.
We’ll see if that works out in the long term. For now, if you want to know what I thought about the Brutale 800RR, check out the latest issue of Cycle News
