Former BikeEXIF Feature – 2009 Ducati SC1000s Custom

I’m out of town with limited internet, so you only get one bike today. Hopefully you think it’s a good one! The Ducati SC1000s Custom (SC stands for Sport Classic) was an instant classic from the Italian firm, thanks to the retro good looks and the joy of the air-cooled twin. Despite the cost, it was also a common starting point for many people looking to build custom bikes. Today we’ve got a high-dollar custom version of the Sport Classic with one-off carbon fiber fairings that was featured on BikeEXIF.

Frankly, most times that I see a Sport Classic, I think of the quick police ‘chase’ scene in Tron Legacy:

But this specific Ducati SC1000s has goodies all over the place – adjustable Ohlins Superbike forks/shocks/steering damper, Marchesini rims, Rizoma accessories, Driven racing clipons and more.

The seller also has a walkaround of the bike that was created by the previous owner. If you’re like me and just want to hear what it sounds like, skip to 1:50.

My two favorite modifications probably have to be the NCR/Zard titanium exhaust system and the custom carbon fiber fairing that was apparently built by a previous owner.

Find this Ducati SC1000s Custom for sale here on Ducati.ms near Washington, DC for $26,500 or best offer.

All pictures shamefully copied from the BikeEXIF feature (going to be tough to beat those photos!).
