Most people think Triumph is an English motorcycle company. Of course, they’d be right, but they might not realize that the company was started as a bicycle manufacturer by a German named Siegfried Bettman in 1886. A decade later, Bettman created another bicycle company in his hometown of Nuremberg – he called it the German Triumph Cycle Company. 7 years later, the German Triumph (rebranded Triumph Werke Nuremberg (TWN) after World War I) started making motorcycles.
For more on the TWN 125, head on over to this write-up from Motorcycle Classics. This example will need a little work (plus a battery), but it’s a rare chance to confuse people with your German-made Triumph. It’s done 6,082 miles and is available here on Craigslist in York, Pennsylvania for $3,000.
