Monday Motorbikes (you may remember as them Bolt) is trying to spread the word about their “crossover motorbike” by…giving one away. Here’s how you can enter, if you want an electric twist-n-go commuter.
First place wins you a bike, second place wins you a demo day for yourself and 10 of your friends, and third place wins you a “swag bag” of Monday Motorbike gear.
So, the most important question – why would you want a M1? Traditional motorcyclists may scoff, but it seems well suited for urban commuters who want a cost-efficient and nimble way to get around. There’s no gears, just grab the throttle and go. The Lithium-Ion battery can go up to 50 miles before you either charge or invoke the quick-release mechanism. Other goodies include a USB port to charge your device, regenerative braking, and bluetooth connectivity to your phone. Plus the low maintenance that comes with electric powertrains isn’t bad, either. For more on the M1, check out Monday’s site.
So, if you want to enter, follow this link. Or if you’re in the San Francisco area, you can sign up to give it a test ride for yourself!
