Who needs a GS when you’ve got an imagination and mechanical ability? This BMW R100 has been extensively modified into a desert racer and is now ready for you to tear up some trails with it.
Interestingly enough, it features the gas tank, airbox, and valve covers from a /6 so you get some vintage looks. Other cosmetic work includes the headlight setup and the rear rack.
But the bulk of work here is clearly on the mechanical side of things, with a dual shock frame, custom engineering rear shocks with remote reservoirs, Showa inverted front end, stainless spoke wheels, and more. The engine has a fresh top end, and other aspects have been maintained (like new fork seals) so that you’re ready to go.
