Guess That Bike Revealed – Tiny Tank Edition

In Guess That Bike, Japan, Small Displacement by AbhiLeave a Comment

Congratulations to John Schnabel, who was the first to identify that the latest Guess That Bike feature is a “late 60s Honda CM91 with a rally kit.” Well done! If you like what you saw, this example is actually for sale right now, though it’s going to take you a bit of work before it’ll be ready to get back on the road.

Honda CM91 Rally Kit Project - Left Side

As some readers noted (and as shown in the listing), Honda offered “the Custom Group” – 4 different kits for the CM91 to spice things up in an attempt to increase poor sales numbers:

This example (VIN: CM91A106621) has every component of the Rally kit except for the sidecovers. The looks are sportier but the mechanical components were untouched, so you still got 7.5 horsepower, good for a top speed just shy of 50 miles per hour. The seller says that the motor is free and the transmission shifts through gears, but obviously this will need plenty of work.
