For the second time in a row, Robert Horn earns congrats for being the first one to identify this Italian oddball as a Negrini. Specifically, it’s a Negrini 50 Sport that’s going to need a full restoration.
Negrini got its name from its founder, Pietro Negrini, who started the company in 1954 in Modena, Italy. By the time this 1968 50 Sport was released, the company was getting almost all of their motors from Franco Morini.
If you want to know what this bike is supposed to look like, check out an example for sale at Owens Moto Classics out of the UK:
This example has a rebuilt motor, but everything else is going to need some work. If you’re looking for a difficult project, you can find this specific Negrini for sale in Pompano Beach, Florida with an unmet opening bid of $1,999
