Heavily Modified – 2007 BMW F800S

The BMW F800S was a very brief member of the BMW Motorrad lineup in the United States. Only sold from 2006-2007, the F800S had a short run (though the ST continues on today as the F800GT). An upright parallel-twin developed by Rotax provided around 85 horsepower and earlier than expected torque, but the 360-degree firing order of the cylinders made this bike sound more like the R-series airheads.

This specific F800S has 21,000 miles and been heavily modified with a lot of upgrades I like (Akrapovic titanium exhaust, Ohlins TTX rear shock, Ricor Intiminators, Morimoto D2S projector retrofit), and a paint job I’m on the fence about, though I’d probably just peel off the CS logo and keep it as is. But there’s a lot of money in some well thought upgrades in this bike for a decent price – plus the seller will throw in a Nuvi GPS, Givi top case/backrest, and Galfer sintered brake pads for another $500.

Find this BMW F800S for sale in Portola Valley, California for $5,500 here on Bay Area Riders Forum.
