When it comes to Yamaha 50cc scooters, most of you are probably more familiar with the Yamaha Riva. But for nearly a decade, Yamaha offered a “fancy” version called the Jog – complete with upgrades like a CVT and a second mirror! Ooooh. While the Jog was originally sold in 1983, it didn’t make it to the US until 1986. There are three generations of Jogs, and this is from the final run between 1992 and 2001.
The last generation was the CY50, and it featured an air-cooled 49cc horizontal Minarelli single that was capable of a top speed of 42 miles per hour. For more on the Jog, check out this post on The Motor Scooter Guide. The seller has a pair of matching Jogs, one from 1998 and one from 1999. Both examples are said to run like new and they have under 600 miles. One has never been registered, the other is currently registered. Lastly, one of the example has an aftermarket exhaust (stock included)
