What an oddball! Here’s a custom-built reverse trike called the Hudson Stinger.
It’s been a little difficult for me to track down reliable information on this. The official Hudson Stinger web site seems to be defunct, though here’s a page that includes some information. It seems that 23 of these have been built, and that you can get with with a variety of engines. Base price was $18,500 and it features a Mustang II front end, a front luggage compartment (or as I call it, a ‘frunk’), and a fiberglass body. Options include rear storage, stereo, heater, and more. It also seems that the company is looking for $700,000 in investment, if you’re feeling generous…
This specific Hudson Stinger is #15 of 23 ever built. It comes with the engine from a 2010 Kawasaki Z1000, which makes about 123 horses. This comes with some extras like a high capacity battery, removable convertible top, and the heater. It has “13,000 trouble-free miles”, which is encouraging. The seller says you’ll get a lot of attention, but this vehicle is just too ugly for me. Still, I figured you’d want to know more about it.
Find this Hudson Stinger for sale here on Craigslist in Daytona Beach, Florida for $17,000.
