In 1954, Ariel introduced the FH, better known as the Huntmaster. It shared the majority of it sengine with the 650cc A10 engine of BSA, but it was surrounded by an all-new frame with a swingarm and paired with a Burman transmission.
According to Ariel, the Huntmaster was capable of hitting 95 miles per hour, while managing up to 70 miles per gallon if you were cruising at 45 miles per hour. The FH enjoyed a lifespan of 15 years before it was killed off in 1959. This example is claimed to ‘run good’, and it has not been restored.
