Post Listing Update: Despite 29 bids on eBay, bidding did not meet reserve at just $1,054.
There’s something about the tank of Suzuki’s Trail Cat that I simply adore – I think it’s the prettiest small dual-sport from the time period, and this example looks great adorned in Aspen Yellow. I also think it’s worth featuring as the seller has clearly spent a lot of time cleaning it up. While it’s received a ‘restoration’ of sorts, it’s mostly been the seller’s sweat as the only new parts are a spark plug, side decals, carb gasket, and kick start rubber.
Everything else was just effort, and the seller does a good job documenting some of that work with photos in the listing. The bike was acquired complete from the original owner’s son and it had been out of commission for a while. Now it’s claimed to work great and start first kick from cold. The seller put 20 miles on it after the work and it’s ready to go. The sale includes the original sales brochure, parts catalog, service manual, and some copies of a period review of the bike.
