Post Listing Update: This TR750 Replica did not meet reserve despite 14 bids up to $7,800 in Somerville, Victoria, Australia. It was then relisted with the seller noting that if it did not sell (with a $30,000 BIN option) that “it’s off the market for good and back into [his] collection”, but it had just 3 bids up to $7,200 so it presumably won’t be for sale again for a while.

Starting with a Suzuki GT750 (also known as the Water Buffalo), the seller of this bike has turned it into a replica of the TR750 (also known as the XR11). It makes 113 horsepower and 85 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheel and the whole thing weighs just 291 pounds!

Other highlights include a chromoly chassis, Dymag magnesium wheels, Brembo brakes, Nitron fork cartridges, 5-speed close ratio Nova transmission with cush drive rear, and a dry clutch, but the amount of modifications in this bike is staggering and you’d be doing the seller a disservice if you didn’t go through the ad to see the list of work performed.

The seller estimates that the “replacement cost would be around AUD$63,000 plus development time and costs.”
