Post Listing Update: this Guzzi did not meet reserve despite 55 bids up to $4,168 on eBay in Toronto, Canada.
Though it’s currently in Toronto, this Guzzi was imported from America so it can easily go back. It started as a 850T, and now it’s a 1,100cc beauty that evokes the legendary V7 Telaio Rosso.
The seller acquired this bike “to do a couple of endurance races a year”, but that unfortunately never happened. Still, it sure looks like this could be a fun vintage racer or even just a lovely weekend canyon carver. Modifications include Carrillo rods, electronic ignition, Suzuki 41mm front forks, Yamaha front brake calipers, custom fiberglass tank (with Caswell liner), straight intakes, and 40mm Dell’Orto carbs.
Per the seller, “the bike was ridden at one trackday to sort out the carbs…. then work got in the way.” The sale includes a few spare parts but it sounds like the new owner may need to do a little fiddling before they enjoy this bike at 100%. Whether or not you think that will be worth it probably depends on what you think of the styling…
