Here’s an unrestored example of the venerable Matchless G80, with some modifications to aid in use as you fight off modern traffic.
Offered by the fifth owner, this numbers-matching Matchless is the sought after alternator-equipped model in a duplex frame. One of the modern modifications is a conversion to 12V electrics with a solid state regulator, and it’s received plenty of new parts in the last year: Amal carb, exhaust, rear light, ignition switch, battery, throttle+cable, and more.
Cosmetically, the bike is claimed have nice patina and have normal wear for a 54 year old bike. It “starts well with no smoke” and “pulls like a train”. Email me at abhi@bike-urious.com to be put in touch with the seller, who’s located in and is asking for £3,950 ($6,100) or best offer.
