Back on Track (formerly known as Rookies of ’79) is a non-profit charity founded in 2009 to provide financial assistance for injured motorcycle racers and their families when a racing injury/accident occurs. This year they’re running a sweepstakes to help raise some funds and the prize at stake is a 2024 example of the sadly-discontinued Indian FTR 1200. Read along to see how you can support a good cause and maybe win yourself a new bike in the process!
If you’re lucky enough to win you should budget for a tune because the throttle mapping is horrible but otherwise I really fell in love with the FTR when I got a chance to ride the new one – once the fueling is sorted I thought it was the most fun bike you could buy from an American motorcycle manufacturer. But alas, it has been killed off.
You can enter the giveaway with as little as $25 but act fast – it closes at the end of today (CDT) and the drawing will be on the 22nd…
