If you’ve been following Bike-urious for a while, you’ll know that I’ve been a fan of Aerostich gear from the beginning. Unless I’m wearing something for a review or need to be in a specific style, my default gear is typically a Transit 2 jacket and Combat Touring Boots. My go-to on longer trips is the Roadcrafter R-3. It’s not cheap and it’s not the sexiest stuff in the world, but I dig what they make. The man behind Aerostich is Andy Goldfine, but he’s relatively private so you don’t get to hear about his story very often. Chris Cope at RideApart just published and interesting interview with him and I thought it was worth sharing.
