Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
CA Titled – 1986 Honda NS400R – sold for the opening bid of $7,800 in Vista, California on eBay.
Dealer Special – 1963 Honda Trail 55 C105T – sold for $3,200 after 29 bids on eBay in Vacaville, California.
119 Miles – 1997 Ducati 916 SPS #79 – sold for $25,145 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in Santa Monica, California.
1917 Eveready Autoped – sold for the opening bid of $9,500 on eBay in Maggie Valley, North Carolina.
No Reserve – 2004 Honda RC51 Nicky Hayden – sold for $12,901 after 19 bids on eBay in Bethel, Connecticut.
Restored – 1972 CZ 400 – sold for $6,900 after 19 bids on eBay in Hailey, Idaho.
Cheap Runner – 1969 Honda Z50 – sold for $1,003 after 30 bids on eBay in Great Falls, Montana.
2000 Honda XR650R Supermoto Custom – sold for $8,650 on Iconic Motorbike Auctions in San Diego, California.
1973 MTD 368-850C – sold for $1,725 after 4 bids on eBay in Spring Hill, Florida.
Rare Project – 1964 Tohatsu Runpet Sport 50 – sold for the BIN of $3,000 on eBay in Maple Valley, Washington.
1938 Zundapp DB200 – sold for $4,276 after 29 bids on eBay in Simi Valley, California.
This one’s sort of borderline:
Jeff Weier Resto – 1968 Suzuki T500 Cobra – sold for $11,500 after 57 bids on eBay in Suffern, New York. However, as it often happens on eBay, the sale didn’t go through for some reason and it’s been relisted.
Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:
1956 Ariel HS500 – did not meet reserve despite 17 bids up to $7,166.66 on eBay in Huntington Beach, California.
Restored – 1982 Honda Motocompo – did not meet reserve despite 30 bids up to $3,950 on eBay in Long Beach, California.
1966 Triumph Tiger T100 Chopper – did not meet reserve despite 29 bids up to $9,500 on eBay in Palmdale, California.
