Post Listing Update: This MTT did not get any action at the BIN of $245,000.
When it was released, the Y2K MTT took the Guinness World Records for most powerful production motorcycle and most expensive production motorcycle. It featured 320 horsepower, 425 pound feet of torque, 227 mile per hour top speed, and one of the greatest startup sounds ever. By the mid 2010s, the figures had bumped up to 420 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque!
The seller of this example says that it’s #5 of 5 ever built, and that it’s called “Sinister Black Series.” He also notes that it’s the only one with a suspension that can be adjusted on the fly on board. Other features are a two-speed automatic transmission, Ohlins suspension, ISR brakes, BST carbon fiber wheels, and carbon fiber bodywork.
