After years of scheduling conflicts, I’m finally going to the Barber Vintage Festival this October! More on that later…for now I wanted to make you aware of a track day that Nate Kern is hosting on 10/9, as I suspect it will be filling up soon.
I’ve had the pleasure of riding Barber once before, it was for the launch of the BMW S1000RR that I covered for Maxim in 2019. It’s an incredible track but it’s proven too far for me to go back to…until now. Seeing as we’ll already be at the Vintage Festival, some of the Iconic crew will be trailering our bikes out to ride, and I cannot wait. “This is a unique opportunity to ride and learn from former Road Race Champion and BMW Factory Test Rider, Nate Kern. Experience a full day of on-track riding within three skill level groups. Exclusivity is the primary goal of this event that has so many layers of value on and off track.”
Hopefully I’ll see you there? There won’t be rental bikes so you’ll have to provide your own, but there are three sessions and attendance is capped to 25 people per group so there will be plenty of room on the track! It’s $461.25/person and you can sign up on Nate’s page.
Let me know if you’re going!
