Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This list will only include listings from eBay (or other auction sites). I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
9 Miles – 2000 Buell X1 Lightning Millennium – sold for the BIN of $4,495 in Delafield, Wisconsin.
1935 Indian Dispatch Tow – sold for $32,500 after 22 bids on Bring a Trailer in La Canada, Flintridge.
1983 Yamaha XJ900RK Seca – sold for $3,850 after 44 bids on eBay in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Cafe Racer Special – 1975 Norton Commando 850 – sold for $12,000 after 7 bids on eBay in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Street Fighter – 1988 Yamaha TZR250 – sold for $3,500 after 24 bids on eBay in San Jacinto, California.
1984 Kawasaki GPz1100 – sold for $3,300 after 31 bids on eBay in Gainesville, Georgia.
2006 Honda Big Ruckus PS250 – sold for $3,000 after 43 bids on eBay in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
No Reserve – 1975 BMW R90/6 – sold for $4,050 after 58 bids on eBay in Indio, California.
1995 Yamaha Virago XV1100 – sold for just $1,185 after 6 bids on eBay in Hollywood, California.
1968 Kawasaki Bushwacker F3 175 – sold for $1,826 after 31 bids on eBay in Sanford, Florida, but there’s a lot more to the story. From commenter Rod: “Abhi, did you know I was awarded this bike. Then the seller backed out! His made up high bid was $1850 I believe. My top bid was $1325 I think. He then let me know I could buy it, so I did for My bid. Afterwards he said he needed $1500 to do the deal. I screamed foul, talked to him on the phone and he said the top bidder came through. When I complained to eBay, they had no way of forcing him to sell it to me, and said they “may take action”.”
No Reserve – 2017 Benelli TnT 600 Tornado – sold for $3,550 after 25 bids on eBay in San Jacinto, California. HOWEVER, it seems that the buyer flaked (or maybe the buyer was trying to artificially inflate the price) as the bike was relisted, selling for $2,550 after 10 bids on eBay.
1968 Bultaco Metralla Mk2 – sold for $7,500 after 18 bids on eBay in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Rare Running Project – 1985 Pulse Autocycle – sold for $8,600 after 71 bids on eBay in Millbury, Massachusetts.
Here’s some stuff that didn’t sell:

Thersby Special – Ducati TT2 Tribute – did not meet reserve with 15 bids up to $8,500 on eBay in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
