Last month we saw some great bikes – but did they sell? And if so, for how much?
This summary will only include listings from eBay and other auction sites. I unfortunately have no way of finding out final sale prices of bikes offered on Craigslist/Cycle Trader/Kijiji/etc. With that said, here are some highlights from last month:
BMW K1200LT-Powered – 2010 Tri-Magnum – sold for $2,225 after 2 bids (after being relisted twice) on eBay with in Sahuarita, Arizona.
No Reserve – 1971 AJS Stormer Y4 250 – sold for $2,648 after 7 bids on eBay in Overland Park, Kansas.
1982 Husqvarna 420 AE – after being relisted, this sold for $2,900 after 6 bids on eBay in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
144 Miles – 1978 Honda CT90 – sold for $2,475 after 33 bids on eBay in Gilbert, Arizona.
1 of 29 – 1982 Kawasaki KZ1000S1 – sold for $114,500 after 124 bids on eBay! in Tucson, Arizona.
Show Winner – 1966 Honda Benly 90 – sold for $4,500 after 39 bids on eBay in Pleasanton, California.
“Isabella the Cafe Dancer” – 1972 BMW R75/5 – sold for $4,150 after 30 bids on eBay in Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Cycle Garden Restoration – 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado Police – sold for $9,000 after 15 bids on eBay in Centerport, New York.
1979 Honda CB750F Super Sport – sold for $3,150 after 15 bids on eBay in Olathe, Kansas.
Swedish Military in Germany – 1942 Albin-Monark M/42 – sold for $9,990 after 1 bid on eBay in Langebruck, Germany.
Privateer Hill Climber – 1938 Harley-Davidson EL – sold for $51,211 after 41 bids on eBay in Grant, Florida.

2015 Motus MST-R – did not meet reserve despite 16 bids up to $15,100 in Gaithersburg, Maryland on eBay.
JDM Monkey – 1972 Honda Z50Z K1 – did not meet reserve despite 48 bids up to $6,200 on eBay in Chicago, Illinois.
Rothmans Replica – 1988 Honda VFR400R – did not meet reserve despite 64 bids up to $4,650 on eBay in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Restored – 1977 Ducati 900SS – did not meet reserve despite 25 bids up to $19,100 on eBay in Deerfield, Illinois.
Mule Motorcycles Street Tracker – 1984 Harley-Davidson XR1000 – did not meet reserve despite 79 bids up to $19,650 on eBay in Aliso Viejo, California.

Did anything surprise you? I was impressed by how much the Kawi S1 sold for, and surprised that the Monkey seller didn’t take $6,200.
