[x_line}In the early 50s, Lambretta’s Spanish distributor got permission from the parent company of Innocenti to build their own licensed copies. Production started in 1954, and a decade later the Spanish company changed their name from Lambretta Locomociones to Serveta. In 1966, Lambretta introduced a top of the line scooter called the SX200 – Serveta’s equivalent was the Jet 200.
At first, Serveta only built bikes for their home country. In 1970, they started exports to the US and the UK. The 200cc single-cylinder two-stroke motor was good for 11 horsepower and 77 miles per gallon. Top speed was 66 miles per hour.
This example (VIN: SX200553786) is very original but it’s got a fair amount of rust on the bottom. It’s missing an emblem and there’s a few other minor flaws but overall this has a lot of potential. Find this Serveta for sale in Nashua, New Hampshire with bidding up to $3,650
