Post Listing Update: This limited edition 450 did not get any interest at the opening bid of $5,500.
In March and April of 1986, Honda Brazil produced 240 examples of a limited edition CB450 – it featured a Nelson Piquet tribute livery and a copy of his signature on the sidecover. According to the seller, just 30 examples remain and only 3 feature Piquet’s actual signature. This is apparently one of the three.
Piquet was a three time F1 champion in the world and was well loved in his home country of Brazil. Therefore it wasn’t too surprising that Honda would want to release this tribute. The base CB450 was introduced in 1983, and it produced 43 horsepower. This example (VIN: CB450BR-2005089) shows 12,050 miles on the odometer and it comes with the certificate of originality and a “Collector’s Plate.” Find this rare Honda for sale in Araçatuba, Sao Paulo, Brazil with an unmet opening bid of $5,500 or a BIN of $7,500
