Founded by Antonio J Pinto in 1987, AJP is a Portuguese motorcycle manufacturer that found quick success with national enduro championships. They’re barely known in the US, but nowadays they offer some price competitive enduros that combine Chinese motors with impressive components that include Sachs suspension, DOMA exhaust, billet bar mounts/footpegs/triple clamps, and even an Android tablet for navigation/gauges.
The Rally is said to be built for competition only, so it’s not supposed to be street legal. It’s an interesting offering that could tempt some buyers on price. For more on the AJP, check out the US distributor’s page, where you’ll see that it’s got a MSRP of $9,995.
This example has just over 1,900 miles and it is indeed street legal in Idaho, where it’s currently registered. The seller has exclusively used it for dual-sport riding and motorcycle camping. What do you think?
