The Aprilia RS250 Cup is by far, the most race-oriented of the street-legal 250s sold in the US. Built from 1995-2002, it was designed to pay homage to Aprilia’s success in the 250 GP championships. Powered by a modified Suzuki 250cc originally designed by Rotax, Aprilia made some of their own changes and made one of the most desirable 250’s to ever hit our shores.

If you’re looking for an Aprilia RS250 Cup, you’ll want one of the 1998 and later models, like this one. Such bikes were blessed with a revision that included new paint, new forks, wider wheels, and a new instrument panel, among other things.

This specific Aprilia RS250 Cup stands out to me thanks to the Marco Simonelli tribute paintwork, which truly differentiates it from the usual RS250s. It’s covered 4,500 miles, and in that time has received several upgrades, including Race Tech fork springs, an Ohlins spring on a Penske rear shock, Woodcraft rear sets and clipons, a full Arrow exhaust with the double pipes, and plenty more.
